Hisarönü Turcaí

Hisarönü is a tourist resort village in the Fethiye district of Muğla Province in Turkey. It is located at the westernmost point of Turkey’s Mediterranean coast and the southernmost point of the Aegean coast. Since 1990, the resort has developed from a very basic village into a large resort area together with its neighbour Ovacık. In 1992, the road through Hisarönü to Kayaköy was paved for the first time. Hisarönü was originally intended to provide accommodation for nearby Ölüdeniz (where new building work is quite restricted), but it has since become a standalone holiday resort and is particularly popular with British holidaymakers.
